Our thanks to Governor Hochul and the State Legislature for securing $10M in funding for the Companion Animal Capital Fund in the FY26 budget (April 2025-March 2026). The RFP for this funding will be released in the early fall. With this $10M, New York State has committed close to $50M in funding since the program first appeared in the FY18 budget.
